How I decided what challenge to do first?
Well I started by making a list of all of the things I wanted to add or subtract from my life and to my surprise this list ended up to be very long
SWEETIES were number one on my list but I decided not to start with this one as it would be the hardest one for me to give up. So when I looked at my LONG list again, I decided I would start with the easiest one because I thought if I could do this one then it might motivate me to do a harder one from the list. As I thought this was the easiest one on my list, I thought I’d go with the flow and YES I failed miserably after only 3 days. However I did not let this deter me from trying again but this time I planned out what I was going to do each day and what I want to have achieved at the end of the 30 days. I even made a chart for myself so I could tick each day I have done.My first challenge was to DECLUTTER MY LIFE!
So this was clearing out my car, e-mails that I never got around to deleting which was thousands clearing out the garden shed and finally my house – wardrobes, toys and worst of all that dreaded draw in the house that is filled with loads of crap that I don’t need but I kept just in case I did
As I said I started with this one thinking it was going to be the easiest one – plus how much clutter do I really have in my life! But then I started to plan out what I would declutter each day and I soon realised that this wasn’t the easiest one because with all my procrastination over the years if I didn’t declutter now I was going to end up a HOARDER – okay so maybe not a HOARDER but I had a lot of things in my life that I didn’t need and I was always thinking of all of the things I had to declutter but never had the time to do or I dreaded it so much I just put it off!
I felt so fantistic about sticking to my challenge and not giving up AGAIN but I also felt so much better about my decluttered life because now I am not continuously thinking about all of the things I have to declutter instead after the 30 days there was no clutter in my life just full BINS and a smile on my face for achieving a DECLUTTERED LIFE in 30 days
NOW ALL I HAVE TO DO IS DECIDE WHAT CHALLENGE I WANT TO COMPLETE NEXT
