Day 3 – Flapjacks

Late putting the recipes up but we have been busy baking everyday 🙂

Recipe below 🙂



100g Butter

4 Tablespoons Golden Syrup

50g Brown Sugar

255g Porridge Oats

50g Milk Chocolate


Preheat oven to 180 C/350 F

Grease baking tin (20cm shallow)

Place the butter, sugar and golden syrup into a saucepan over a low heat until the the butter has melted and the sugar has dissolved ensuring to stirring continuously

Stir in the porridge oats

Pour the mixture into the greased tin and put the chocolate chips on top and press the mixture firmly down until it is about 5 cm thick

Place in the oven and bake for 20 – 25 mins or until golden

Leave them to cool in the tin for 15 – 20 before cutting into rectangles
