Day 8 – Porridge Bread

We decided to make something new – porridge bread  and we are so glad we did because it was delicious and so easy to make 🙂

500ml Natural Yogurt

2 x 500g container of Porridge Oats (wash out the yogurt container)

2 teaspoons of Bread Soda

2 tablespoons of Olive Oil

Cinnamon & handful mixed seeds optional


Preheat the oven to 175 C and grease the tin

Mix all ingredients in a bowl

Place in the baking tin and bake for 30 minutes and then take it out of the tin and put back in the oven upside down and bake for a further 15 – 20 minutes


Other options to add to the mixture is sultanas, chopped apricot, dried cranberries, cashew nuts etc
